What is this android SDK thing that good came out with?

Q. I know it has something to do with a cell phone, and I watched videos on it, but I still don't know exactly what it is, how you get it, and what it can do.

Anyone wanna fill me in without using TOO much computer lingo?
*computer-programming lingo.

A. I'm not sure if its a complete Operating environment for Cell phones. But I know you can at least use it to write programs for cell phones.
Once cell phones are built with this on it, then programs well work for it. it does look cool, but it sounds like some cell companies are going to go a different way.
But because of this technology it makes people think that Google is going to start coming out with its own cell phone. Who knows.

How can i install clockwork mod in huawei y100 using fastboot in android sdk tools? ?

Q. i have no idea what to type in command prompt. the sdk files are in local c:. should i open fastboot.exe or just move to command prompt thing. would some1 pliz note the steps of installing the clockmod recovery.img file i have in bootload mode using fastboot

how to program a button to a link in Android SDK?

Q. hey, im pretty new to the Android SDK and Java development, but i know a FEW things. i can make the UI and retrieve my TextView and Buttons, but i am unsure of the coding to make my button process a URL. i am trying to make a very basic Search Engine for a starter application so ANY help will be GREATLY appreciated.
